Oltre a tante belle notizie sul dvd a cui stanno lavorando e una approssimativa data di uscita del progetto (prima di Natale), si parla delle idee che hanno per festeggiare il decimo anno dall'uscita di Waking The Fallen (seppur in ritardo) e del loro entusiasmo per l'uscita prossima del videogame Hail to the King: Deathbat (previsto per questa estate).

Avenged Sevenfold are still going strong on their ‘Hail to the King’ album and will be for quite some time, but fans of the band will be happy to know that the group intends to revisit pieces of their past for a pair of upcoming projects. Loudwire recently spoke with frontman M. Shadows who revealed plans for two projects the band hopes to complete in the coming months.
The first is the overdue 10th anniversary package for their 2003 effort, ‘Waking the Fallen.’ Shadows says, “We’re going to put something together for the 10 year anniversary of ‘Waking the Fallen,’ which is about 11 or 12 years now. We’ve been trying to think of something we could put together and we found some old demos that we did with Teppei [Teranishi] from Thrice before we even did that record.”
And that’s not all they found. Shadows adds, “We also found some old footage with [late drummer] Jimmy [Sullivan] playing some old shows at The Henry Fonda Theater in L.A., and the Ventura Theater. We’ll put together a cool DVD and some demo tracks and re-release ‘Waking the Fallen’ for newer fans of the band that haven’t gotten that or don’t know about the history of the band.”
Avenged are also plotting a new DVD. Shadows tells us, “It is going to encompass the whole world that we’ve been filming for the last 5 years being in all these different countries with our camera guy. That’ll be a fun thing I think we’re going to film some big shows — I think we’re filming Mexico City coming up and we have some other shows we’re going to film and kind of intertwine the live performance with this huge DVD we want to do. That will probably come out before Christmas.”
But before either of those projects arrive, Shadows reveals that the next thing that will arrive is the ‘Hail to the King: Deathbat’ video game. “It’s two years in the making and its really close,” says Shadows. “We’re really excited about that coming out.”

Loudwire ha recentemente parlato con il frontman M Shadows che ha rivelato i piani per due progetti che la band spera di completare nei prossimi mesi.
Il primo è per il decimo anniversario, in ritardo, del loro cd del 2003 Waking The Fallen. Shadows dice "vogliamo assolutamente metter su qualcosa per festeggiare il decimo anniversario di Waking The Fallen che ormai ha 11-12 anni. Abbiamo provato a pensare a qualcosa da metter su e abbiamo trovato un sacco di vecchi demo che abbiamo fatto con Teppei dei Thrice prima ancora di incidere poi il disco".
Gli A7X stanno anche pianificando un nuovo dvd. Shadows ci dice "Dovrebbe contenere un po' tutto il mondo, quello che abbiamo filmato negli ultimi 5 anni suonando in molti stati differenti con il nostro amico regista (Rafa). Sarà veramente una cosa diverte e penso che filmeremo anche alcuni grandi show. Credo che registreremo in Messico City che è il prossimo e ci sono anche altri show che sicuramente registreremo. Cercheremo di intrecciare tutte le performance live in questo immenso dvd che vogliamo fare. Probabilmente uscirà prima di Natale."
Ma prima che entrambi questi progetti escano, Shadows rivela che la prossima grande cosa in uscita è il videogame Hail to the King: Deathbat. "Sono due anni che ci lavoriamo su e ci siamo molto vicini!" dice Matt "siamo molto eccitati che stia per uscire!"
