| La redazione di Loudwire ha recentemente stilato una lista dei migliori album della scena rock e metal del 2023. Tra i vari non poteva mancare Life Is But A Dream... ecco cosa dicono: CITAZIONE Even if M. Shadows told fans, "It's okay to hate this record," we still think Avenged Sevenfold's Life Is But a Dream is worth the ride. It's chaotic in the best possible way as it brings the listener into a world of uncertainty and despair — but one that is never without at least a glimmer of hope. Though there are some standout tracks, like the heavy "Mattel" or the unexpectedly incredible one-two-three punch of "G," "(O)rdinary" and "(D)eath," the album must be heard as a whole; the experience from beginning to end brings the chaos into a familiar reality all the while highlighting the band's many — many — different influences. — CA Anche se M. Shadows ha detto ai fan, "è okay odiare questo album", noi pensiamo ancora che Life Is But A Dream degli Avenged Sevenfold ne valga la pena. E' caotico nel miglior modo possibile poichè porta l' ascoltatore in un mondo di incertezza e disperazione - ma che non è mai privo di un minimo barlume di speranza. Anche se ci sono alcune tracce eccezionali come la pesante "Mattel" o gli inaspettatamente incredibili pugni di "G", "(O)rdinary" e "(D)eath", l' album deve essere ascoltato nella sua interezza, l' esperienza dall' inizio alla fine porta il caos in una realtà familiare evidenziando allo stesso tempo le molte - molte- differenti influenze della band. |
